The so-called 'radar' hoop has multiple uses. The radar consists of a base and a rim. It is one of the most commonly used trainers in volleyball. Four types of hoops are used in training and games: 45 cm, 60 cm, 83 cm and an oval hoop 60 cm x 120 cm. As a standard, a 60 cm hoop is included in the set. The hoop is made of a steel pipe fi 16, powder coated, to which a 120 cm long net is attached, which drains the balls to the ball trolley
We suggest having several types of hoops or hoops of the same diameter, one of which does not have a ball drainage net. Such a hoop is used to determine the trajectory of the ball after the setter has placed it. The rim can be raised to a height of 320 cm. By setting the angle of inclination of the rim, you can adapt it to the flight of the ball of different heights. The rim with a diameter of 60 cm is universal. Other hoops are optional and can be purchased at any time as components. The smaller 45 cm hoop is used as a target for experienced setters. The larger circle of 83 cm and the oval circle of 60 x 120 are more used to assess the accuracy of the reception of the service. The 60 cm x 120 cm oval rim is more suited to the characteristics of the reception, which with greater tolerance determines the place of the ball along the net than the distance from it. The use of 2-3 "radar" type trainers in training allows you to set additional tasks for the exercisers.
The use of wheels of different diameters depends on the training task or the possibilities of groups practicing at the mini-volleyball level.
