Free standing block simulacrum is one of most versatile training devices allowing to practice many attack, defence and belay excercisess. It's main purpose is to create for attacker stable conditions during the attack.
Striking player may exercise the whole range of strikes used during typical game. The simulacrum is often used for simultaneous belay exercises , using it's different leaning position and setting it at different angles.
In defence training, players are taught positions on the edge of block. Simulacrum may be used even more widely, all depends on the teachers invention.
Detailed description
• For better stability, the device may be ballasted with a barbells plate 20 kg or hooked with mesh rubber.
• Height adjustment is possible thanks to movable arm regulated with pressure screw.
• The leaning angle of block surface is possible thanks to pressure clutch positioned at the end of an arm.
• Simulacrum width is 80 cm, which responds with the block formed by two players.
• Small weight of the block allows its manual height adjustment and setting the leaning angle with a clutch used.
• The block surface is made of a wooden frame filled with a foam and covered with skay, which is a great amortization for bouncing the ball.
• Thanks to the wheels used , the simulacrum can be easily moved , which is crucial when the device has to be often shifted due to frequent change of its position during training
